Missing winter...

Yes. You read that right. I loved this winter. All 90 days in a row of snow on the ground. It was beautiful and it entertained my little boys like you can't believe... Best of all- NO MUD!

Here comes the rain...

And George is ready! It rains so infrequently here, it's not funny! And when it does... it's for an hour or so... Maybe a day once in a great while. It's been raining for five days now. It's glorious! My humidity reads 98%. It's 46 degrees. It's finally spring!!!!! I love it! I wish it would rain until June!

Of course, it's clearing up today. It has never rained like this in the 14 years I've lived here. Hopefully I won't have to wait another 14 years for it to rain again. It is my absolute favorite weather and I've enjoyed each and every drop. (Unfortunately it's washing out my road...)

Stupid Winter Wonderland...

Drove home in a snowstorm last night. You know... No visibility. Driving snow. Do you realize that tomorrow is Easter? It's technically spring now. Would it be too much to ask for moisture in the (extremely rare) form of rain?! Please!

Real snow?

Brennen was beside himself on Saturday morning. We woke to big fluffy flakes falling... He could hardly wait to go snow boarding. I didn't have the heart to tell him that was quite a ways off.. Fortunately, he forgot by lunchtime. Whew!

SNOW!!!!

Really. Not much. In fact, barely visible to the untrained eye. But, we saw it!!!!! Today we had a nice storm come thru. Wind, thunder, lightning, lots of rain, and....SNOW!

Wouldn't you know, we have a outdoor field trip tomorrow. Argh!
