I already dislike zoology...

I do not like any bugs. None. Unfortunately for the mama, we are doing Zoology this year. Bugs, bats, & birds to be precise. I have already decided to rebel and NOT do a bug collection. I like dead bugs slightly better than live ones.
Here, Jamie and Kjersten created a habitat for a pretty (according to Lou) beetle. As long as it stays contained, I can handle it for a day or two. This does not translate to keeping an assortment of dead bugs under glass for my viewing pleasure. The beetle in the jar is my compromise. End of discussion!

LOL - I'm with you Karen...I did end up liking the zoology book - once we got out of bugs....a low point of the year was the day I reached in the fridge and found a jar of bugs the kids had forgotten. UGH. ::snort::

Karen,
You'll come around... I even :::::gasp:::: spent money this week on a killing jar and ethyl stuff as well as a fairly inexpensive display case. Shall I pick one up for you the next time I'm there? I mean afterall... Kjersten already has the bug in the jar. She may as well poke it with a needle, attach it to the foam board, and take it for show and tell......
