Forgive the out of order posts... This is what happens when the internet goes flaky and then goes away. On top of a terribly busy spring, our ISP "improved" our service by moving our tower and adding an amplifier. Ummmm... didn't help us! Instead, after an hour of work on the roof and in our basement, the guy loaded up my equipment, apologized for no longer being able to help us, promised to send a check in the mail (which come to think of it... I still haven't seen), and left.
So, besides my laziness, busy days, and general inconsistency, I also have the 'acceptable' excuse of internet issues... And that, folks, is why I am so far behind on blogging!
Bear with me as I catch up and remember that the snow pictures really are current. Perhaps a bit out of order, but still April pictures. Stupid Montana weather!

More Good News... Bad News...
Good news: Apparently some time out for the computer caused it to rethink deleting my photos. This morning, they (re)appeared! (Yes, I am sure they weren't hiding somewhere... Remember, Jason just cleared my hard drive of files. There's precious little to search thru these days...) Don't know what happened, but they're here now!
Bad news: Now, once again... I am behind on blogging! (157 photos behind, to be exact...)

Good News... Bad News...
good news: I had three hours to blog last night.
bad news: I had Jason's laptop with no SD card reader so I couldn't upload photos.
good news: The reason I didn't have my laptop is Jason was working on it. He upgraded the memory, got me an additional hard drive, and replaced my display housing including my wireless antenna. This means I can upload photos again without constant fear of catastrophic computer issues.
bad news: It was too late and I was too tired to fiddle with it last night.
good news: Jason and Rhys left early to spend the day painting and the other three slept in. Lots of time to blog...
bad news: An unprecedented operator error (mine) erased all but the "peach" photos from my SD card. I didn't really see what was on there, just that there were LOTS of photos for me to blog about. I'm trying not to cry.
good news: I am now officially caught up on blogging... unless some photos surface from last month begging to be commented on and preserved on the blog.

Would ya look at that?!
Well, if you know me, you know I am a bit of a procrastinator. So... why did I post 23 times tonight? I'll tell you... Our ISP is going under and I'm expecting any minute to lose my internet connection with no real clue about when I might procure a new one. (One of the joys of living in the house with a view... No DSL.)
So, here you go... Lots of photos. Please excuse the occasional out-of-order post. I was really hurrying!
I'll do my best to keep up with or without a connection to call my own.
(BTW, if you blog- I haven't been reading. Reading other's blogs reminds me that I am horribly behind on mine, so I don't. Now, I'm off to read yours until the connection vaporizes!)

She's so much funnier than I am...
Carol finally posted on her blog about hanging out here on Valentine's Day. How is that we can post about the same photos, but her captions are so much better? The post is here. I laughed so hard I cried at the last two pictures. Good stuff.

201 posts?! Crazy...
When I went to post this evening, I noticed that this will be my 201st post. 201 posts about nearly nothing! Good grief... I'm chatty even in print.

Two sick parents + four sick kiddos= Looooooong days
This is the first time I can remember our entire family being sick at one time. Nasty colds. I think I have it worst, but then again, I'm probably just having a pity party.
Having foot surgery right after Christmas seemed like a good idea. After all, I've met my insurance deductibles & out of pocket limits. Having a baby will do that. So... why not have the necessary surgery while we're on break from co-op and while Cael is not totally mobile?
I'll tell you why. I'm terribly sore right now. The Christmas tree and other decor that looked so nice two weeks ago, looks like total clutter now. The downstairs (including the laundry room) is down the longest staircase ever! And I have a terrible cold. (sniff, sniff)
Okay, enough pouting! I have pictures to post. We've made a bit of space on the hard drive. We're trialing an off-site storage company and I'm being judicious in what pictures I allow to reside on the hard drive. For now, I have some stability and that means I'd better get to posting...

Yup. Those are construction cones. Yes, it's indicative of my delayed posting on all things these last few weeks. You see... my laptop only has so much memory. Seems I've used it all. I am not to save anymore anything to my hard drive until I figure this out. We're investigating our options and hope to have a (even temporary) solution in place by New Year's Day.
So, I might do a bit of posting and wait on the photos... Or I might just wait.
Either way, know that we are still here. Alive and well with LOTS to post once doing so will not crash my computer.

How to find time to blog?
Call it a "family movie night." We have Evan Almighty from NetFlix and some Boy Scout popcorn. We enjoyed the movie, ate the popcorn, and mama got the blog up to date. What more could we ask for in a family night?

My stick figure family picture...
I got the link from Life is Good (my friend Cindy's blog). It's just too cute. You can have a custom sticker made for your car. Wendy (Truly Blessed) did hers too... What fun!!!
Whoops. Here's the link... Our Stick Family

I have a really good excuse... Honest!!!
I have been without internet. For nearly a week. Can you imagine?!
Unfortunately, once restored (Tuesday afternoon), I was so busy with trivial little things like schoolwork, housework, appointments, and sleep, that I was unable to tend to the blog until now...
But, I'm back. Aren't you relieved?

Seems I've been tagged...
What are my favorite things... (other than my peoples...)
- Rain. Despite my previous post, I really do love the rain. Really love it!
- Office supplies. Goes with the type "A" personality and the desire to organize all things. Homeschooling merely feeds the need!
- Steak. Good, grilled, medium-rare.
- Red Vines fake licorice. This is a post-partum addiction. Hope it resolves soon.
- Neil Diamond, Cat Stevens, and 60's country music. Thank my parents for that one.
- New socks. Jason and I share this love.
- Daisies. In a round, clear, glass vase on my table.
- Clean laundry. Love the smell. I even buy candles to recreate the smell. Easier than actually doing laundry!
- Being pregnant. Love every minute of it, including labor and delivery.
- Bubble gum.
I could go on and on. I'm very passionate. I don't like or dislike things. I love them or hate them. Little falls in between. So, that's an incomplete list but it'll have to do...

Love, love, love the comments!!!!
If you're a fellow blogger, you know what I am talking about. I type out the gory details of our lives and, yet, readers return. Sometimes, they even leave lovely remarks.
Thank you. It makes it that much more fun to blog when I really think someone might read it! If you ask me a question, I usually e-mail the response directly to you. If I don't know your e-mail, I'll try to answer it in the same comment section.

Thanks Jamie!
With one brief call en route to church this morning, Jamie was able to tell me how to post our daily schedule. So... should you be curious to how this little family organizes its activities and schooling- see the link below!

Stupid blogger...
I cannot figure out the formatting issue on the post below. Please ignore the random line breaks. If you know how to fix it, please share. If it involves skill with editing Html, I am out of luck! Argh!!!
